Kennedy challenged students at the University of Michigan to serve their country in the cause of peace by living and working in developing countries. From that inspiration grew an agency of the federal government devoted to world peace and friendship. Today's Peace Corps is more vital than ever, working in emerging and essential areas such as information technology and business development, and committing more than 1,000 new Volunteers as a part of the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief. Peace Corps Volunteers continue to help countless individuals who want to build a better life for themselves, their children, and their communities.

Presentation: Life at NSA with Mr. Dickie George, Information Assurance Technical Director
The National Security Agency (NSA) is home to America's codemakers and codebreakers. The National Security Agency has provided timely information to U.S. decision makers and military leaders for more than half a century. NSA is unique among the U.S. defense agencies because of their government-wide responsibilities. NSA provides products and services to the Department of Defense, the Intelligence Community, government agencies, industry partners, and select allies and coalition partners. In addition, they deliver critical strategic and tactical information to war planners and war fighters.
Come meet Richard "Dickie" George, Information Assurance Technical Director, who has been with the NSA since 1970. As a technical leader, Mr. George works closely with teams and individuals giving advice and direction on specific, as well as general, technical questions; mentors; and serves on various technical boards. |
