What courses in the Yale College Programs of Study bulletin fulfill the requirements for admission to medical school? We will help you to select your premedical courses and to establish a plan to complete them depending upon when you wish to matriculate in medical school. Please note that these meetings do not substitute for those that you will also have with your faculty advisor. There will be ample time for questions.

The On Campus Interview Program Registration Meeting offers detailed instruction about employers' visits, resume submission, interviews on campus and resources for your job search. Attendance is required to obtain access to the OCIP recruiting system in eRecruiting.

Resume Writing for Internships

Location: UCS 305

Resumes play an integral part in the internship search process. This workshop will highlight the fundamental components involved in writing an effective resume. Some of the topics that will be covered: the structure of a resume, what to do if you do not have extensive experience, and what to include from high school.

Interviewing for Medical School

These meetings are for applicants currently applying to medical school and other health professions. You only need to attend one session. We will discuss the interview process in detail from preparation and dress code to potential questions and follow-up. It is useful to attend one of these meetings prior to participating in the mock interview process.

Bulldogs on the Cuyahoga Information Session

Join representatives from the Bulldogs on the Cuyahoga program to learn about the exciting internship opportunities in Cleveland, OH. The program offers a strong slate of nonprofit and for-profit opportunities with a minimum compensation of $3200 and housing in a Case dorm free of charge. Applications will be accepted from current sophomores, juniors and seniors. At this time, current first year students are not eligible for positions offered through Bulldogs on the Cuyahoga.

Careers in Law: Intellectual Property

Paul D. Greeley - Mr. Greeley has extensive experience in many areas of intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, licensing, mergers and acquisitions/divestments, entertainment and employment-related issues. Mr. Greeley has also served as a patent law expert in litigation representing major multinational clients. His prior experience as a law clerk for the Chamber of Commerce of the United States, and a patent attorney for B.P. America Inc. provides his corporate clients with a full understanding of in-house issues.

Coffee Cup Conversation: Juan Nunez, Associate Social Affairs Officer, United Nations Dept. of Economic and Social Affairs

Yale alumnus Juan Fernando Nunez joined the staff of the United Nations Department on Economic and Social Affairs in January of 2007. He is currently an Associate Social Affairs Officer at the Secretariat of the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues. Prior to his appointment at the Secretariat, he was an Assistant Public Policy Officer at UNICEF's Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean, in Panama City, Panama. Juan holds an MSc in Development Management from London School of Economics and a BA in Political Science and Latin American Studies from Yale University.

Columbia Publishing Course Information Session
